WBB: Thomas Stays Undefeated in NAC Play with 67-59 Win at NVU-Lyndon

LYNDONVILLE, Vt. – The Thomas College women's basketball team defeated Northern Vermont University-Lyndon 67-59 to remain undefeated in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play, improving to 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers were led by the trio of Malorie Weaver (Palermo, Maine), Karli Stubbs (Auburn, Maine) and Kaylee Ravagli (Lowell, Mass.) who combined to score 57 points for the Terriers. Weaver led the way with 20, followed by Stubbs with 19 and Ravagli with 18. Weaver was an efficient 10-16 from the field and pulled in eight rebounds.

After taking a four-point advantage into halftime, Thomas scored the first eight points of the third quarter on back to back three-point goals from Ravagli and Stubbs, followed by an Addie Brinkman (Farmington, Maine) jumper.  The Terriers maintained their double-digit advantage going into the fourth quarter.  Another Stubbs three with 7:05 to go gave Thomas their biggest lead at 59-38.  The Hornets then chipped away, but never got closer than the eight-point final margin as Thomas took the 67-59 win.

Thomas and Lyndon will meet again on Friday, January 17 with the Terriers hosting the Hornets at 5:30 PM.
