WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its end of season awards for men's soccer and five Terriers have been honored. Eric LaBrie (Yarmouth, Maine) was named Rookie of the Year and to the All-Conference First Team, Drew Parsons (Farmington, Maine) and Zenawi Bowen (St. George's, Bermuda) were named to the All-Conference First Team, Benjamin Vigue (Yarmouth, Maine) was named to the All-Conference Second Team and Princiel Kunieki (Portland, Maine) was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
LaBrie started all 17 games and tallied six goals in NAC contests this fall, the third-highest goal total in the conference. His overall goal total of ten ranks third and is the most among first-year players. Parsons started all 17 games this year and had two goals and had four assists for eight points in conference play this season. Bowen played in all eight conference tilts and totaled eight goals and four assists for 20 points in those games. Vigue anchored the Thomas back line in all 17 games this season, leading the Terriers to a 0.75 goals against average in conference games.
Kunieki is being recognized as a member of the NAC Men's Soccer Sportsmanship Team, which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees positively affect the women's soccer culture and match environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond the sport playing rules and etiquette.
