BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Thomas College men's soccer team fell to Bowdoin 2-1 in a non-conference match on Monday afternoon.
After a scoreless first half, Bowdoin got on the board early in the second with a goal in the 47th minute by Drake Byrd. The Terriers answered back in the 55th minute with a goal by Adam LaBrie (Yarmouth, Maine), assisted by Kyle Patterson (Gorham, Maine), to tie it 1-1. The Polar Bears took the lead back in the 74th minute, with Matty McColl scoring the game-winner to give Bowdoin the 2-1 win.
Chris Kingston took the win in net for Bowdoin, making four saves on five shots. Jonathan Dutka (Durham, N.H.) held the Terriers in it, making 11 saves on 13 shots.
The Terriers will visit UMaine-Presque Isle on Saturday, October 6 for a 2:30 PM North Atlantic Conference match.
