NAC Releases Men’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) released the men's lacrosse preseason poll and the Terriers have been picked to finish sixth.

Thomas will be guided by head coach Marsh Gray, who enters his second season with the Terriers. Key returners for Thomas include Colby Blondin (Colchester, Vt.), Connor Lamberton (Shohola, Pa.), Conner Blair (North Hartland, Vt.), and Alex Lawson (Hockessin, Del.). Blondin started 11-of-12 games in 2016, registering team-highs with 28 points, 16 goals and 12 assists, while also leading the team with 78 ground balls, causing 11 turnovers and winning 72-of-214 opportunities in the face-off circle. Lamberton enters his third season in goal for Thomas after finishing in the top-five in all four major goalie statistics, including a 60.9 save percentage to lead the conference. Blair and Lawson will anchor down the Terriers' defense as they combined for 42 ground balls and 38 caused turnovers a season ago.

The Terriers will open their season on Wednesday, March 8, as they host Emerson in a 4:00 p.m. non-conference matchup.
