WATERVILLE, Maine – The No. 4 seed Thomas College men's basketball team will take on No. 1 UMaine-Farmington in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Semifinal on Friday, February 22 at 5:30 PM.
- The Terriers (13-12, 9-5 NAC) advanced to the semifinal following a 67-63 win over Maine Maritime Academy on February 16.
- The Terriers swept the season series over UMF, taking a 78-74 win on January 19 at Farmington, then winning the regular season finale 90-76 at home on February 12.
- The top-seeded Beavers (16-9 overall) lost only one other time in conference play and finished with an 11-3 mark.
- Thomas will try to shut down a prolific UMF offense that averaged a conference best 82.2 points per game overall this season and had five starters average double-digit points per game in conference play.
Friday night's winner will go on to face the winner of No. 2 Husson vs. No. 3 SUNY Canton for the North Atlantic Conference Championship on Saturday, February 23 at 2:00 PM at UMaine-Farmington.
