MBB: Butler Named NAC Player of the Week

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced it's weekly wards for men's basketball and Thomas College sophomore Justin Butler (Orlando, Fla.) has been named Player of the Week.

Butler averaged 21 points, on 75.0% shooting from the field with 4.5 rebounds and three assists per game as the Terriers went 2-0 on the week. The sophomore scored 20 in the Terriers season finale, adding three rebounds and five assists in a 90-76 win over UMaine-Farmington. In Thomas' 67-63 NAC Quarterfinal with over MMA, Butler dropped 22 points, hauled in six rebounds and registered two steals to advance the Terriers to the semifinal.

The Terriers will visit top-seeded UMaine-Farmington on Friday, February 22 in the NAC Semifinal at 5:30 PM.
