CASCO, ME – The Thomas College club golf team finished fifth in the 14th Annual John Queenan Memorial Tournament hosted by Saint Joseph's College (Maine) on Tuesday morning at the Point Sebago Golf Resort.
The host team was victorious as the Monks finished with a team score of 302. Cam Letourneau had the highest individual score for the Monks after shooting a 72 while his teammate Mike Caron finished with a 73. The University of Southern Maine finished second with 313, University of Maine at Farmington 322, University of New England 327, and Thomas 384.
Senior golfer Cam Jackman finished as the highest scorer for the Terriers after shooting an 89 while Bryce Lamontagne and Jacob Perkins completed their rounds each with a 94. The final two finishers for Thomas were Bo Curtis (106) and Isaac Salisbury (114).
The Terrier golfers will sit idle for a week in preparation for the UMaine-Farmington Invitational on Wednesday, September 14, at the Waterville Country Club in Oakland, Maine.
