WATERVILLE, Maine – The top-seeded Thomas College field hockey team is set for NECC Semifinal action as they take on No. 2 Becker on Saturday, November 3 at 11:00 AM at New England College.
- The Terriers went undefeated (4-0) in North Atlantic Conference play for the first time in program history en route to their first ever NAC Championship.
- This is the first meeting between the Hawks and Terriers since 2007, a 1-0 victory for Thomas.
- Becker finished the regular season 7-9 (4-2 NECC) and won a 3-2 Quarterfinal game over No. 3 Elms on October 31 to advance to the Semifinal round.
- Saturday's contest will pit two conference players of the year against one another, with Becker junior defender and NECC Player of the Year Samantha Carter and Thomas junior midfielder Kelci Faulkingham (Belfast, Maine) squaring off.
The winner of Saturday's game will move on to the NECC Final on Sunday, November 4 at 12:00 PM, where they'll meet the winner of the semifinal game between New England College and Husson.
