FH: Terriers Finish Undefeated Conference Season with 2-0 Win at Husson

BANGOR, Maine – The Thomas College field hockey team defeated Husson University 2-0 on Saturday night to finish their regular season a perfect 4-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play.

Tiffany Weeks scored (Kennebunk, Maine) off a corner entry from Lindsey Gregoire (Kennebunk, Maine) in the 13th minute to give Thomas an early 1-0 lead that they would hold through the half.

Katie Taylor (Lebanon, Maine) scored off a feed from Weeks for an insurance goal that gave Thomas a 2-0 victory.

MacKenzie Oberholzer (Hancock, Md.) picked up her fourth shutout of the season, making three saves. Andrea Shaggy took the loss for Husson, allowing two goals on 10 shots.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Terriers complete their first undefeated conference season in program history
  • Thomas' 11-7 record (.611) is the most regular season wins and best winning percentage in program history
