Every month, the Thomas College Athletics Department will select one male and one female student-athlete that have excelled on the playing surface.
For the month of October, field hockey player, Katie Taylor, has been named Female Terrier Athlete of the Month.
Taylor started in all six games this month for the Terriers as she moved between forward and her normal midfield position. The junior captain recorded a goal and two assists during the span for a total of four points, including nine shots on goal. Following the season, Taylor was one of 11 players in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) to be named to the All-Conference Team voted on by NAC coaches.
"Katie is a hard worker and leads by example," said Head Coach Andrea Thebarge. "She excels in the classroom and on the field and is always pushing her teammates to be better."
